Introduction
This action triggers a shortcut from Apple's Shortcuts app. Click on the refresh button to refresh the list of shortcuts if you don't see your recently created shortcut.
Renaming Shortcuts
Keep in mind that if you rename a shortcut, you need to update the action by selecting the new one. We don't have a way to automatically update the action when the shortcut is renamed.
Shortcuts used in the Pre-Defined Commands
Some contexts within Dondock at first usage feature commands that trigger specific shortcuts. To fully utilize these functionalities, we recommend installing the necessary shortcuts via the links provided below:
- Comma Separated List
- Comma Quote Separated List
- Today Human-Readable
- Capture Text from Screenshot
- Safari Close Tabs to the Left
- Safari Close Tabs to the Right
- Google Chrome Tabs to the Right
- Google Chrome Tabs to the Left
Please note that each shortcut needs to be downloaded and installed individually as there isn't a batch download option available.
Some of the shortcuts here imitate keyboard shortcuts and key presses. Therefore, it is necessary to grant the Shortcuts app permission in the system preferences. Please follow these steps to do so.
- Go to the Apple Menu (Apple icon in the top left) and select System Settings.
- In System Settings, click on Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down the list to find Accessibility and click on it to access the Accessibility settings.
